Tester Profile Registration
Step 1 — Create Your Tester Account
Go to the AquaResource login page.
Click Register.
Select Tester.
Enter your information (company email is OK) and click Register.
You will be automatically logged in after registration.
Step 2 — Verify Your Email (Required for Access Requests)
Open your email inbox and find the AquaResource verification email.
Click the Verify Email link.
Important: You can be logged in without verifying, but you cannot request access to any utility/purveyor until your email is verified.
If you don’t see the email: check Spam/Junk and search for “AquaResource”.
Step 3 — Upload Your Required Documents
Open the menu → click My Profile.
Upload your Backflow Testing Certificate
Click Documents.
Click the blue + button.
Upload your Backflow Testing Certificate.
Set the document type to Certificate.
Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, PNG.
Add your Test Kit + Calibration
Click Pressure Gauges.
Click the blue + button.
Enter your test kit / gauge information.
Upload your calibration documentation.
Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, PNG.
Step 4 — Request Access (Present Your Certificate to the Utility)
Open the menu → Purveyors → Access Requests.
Search for the city/utility you need and select it.
When prompted with the Backflow Tester question, click Yes.
A dropdown will appear — select the certificate document you just uploaded.
Click Request Access to submit it to the utility for approval.
After you request access: the utility must approve you before you can submit reports for them.
Step 5 — Add Your Company Information
Open the menu → click Company.
Enter/upload your Company Information.
Click Save.
Step 6 — Set Up Payment (Only if the Utility Charges a Passing Test Submission Fee)
Important: You must be approved by the utility/purveyor before you can add a payment option.
Open the menu → Purveyors → Enter Purveyor → select the approved utility/purveyor.
Open the menu → click My Profile.
Click Payment.
Click the + button → add your card.
Assign to Company (if needed).
Optional: set a Receipt Email (can be different from your login email).
Click Save.
